The Graphic Imaging Module is available 24/7 to Vision CORE Grant Investigators. Each eligible person is assigned a PIN number for room access. I am here part-time. My days and hours are posted to the right. If I know of changes in advance they will be shown to the right, and a note will be posted on the door.
Computers; three macs and one windows. Two Mac computers have 10.6 Snow Leopard operating system, the third has 10.5 Leopard. The Windows platform has Windows XP Pro.
Other hardware:
Printers: Epson Stylus Photo Printer R1800, and two networked printers --HP 2605 Color Laserjet (double-sided), and HP 5000N black and white printer.
Scanners: HP Scanjet 8250 with an automatic document feeder that can scan up to 50 pages, and Canon CanoScan 8800F for slide and transparency scans.
Hardware to sign-out: a Macbook with Snow Leopard 10.6 and Windows XP Pro using BootCamp, two Panasonic LCD projectors, and a Canon Powershot Digital Elph camera.
All computers have current versions of Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite installed. There is also Imaris 3D imaging software, video software, and scientific imaging software available for use.
